Every person wants to be known by others, and everyone knowns what loneliness is like—regardless of sexual orientation or theological position. Art Pereira works for Revoice and is same-sex attracted. Art lives a life of celibacy, but he refuses to believe that a life of celibacy is the same thing as a life of loneliness. Art joins us to discuss relationships within God's family.

Art is the Director of Community Care for Revoice. Art immigrated from Brazil with his parents when he was 4 years old, and has lived in New Jersey since. Art lives with his best friend/chosen brother.
Art has spent the past decade working in local church youth ministry, predominately in the suburbs. Between his immigration background and his experience as a sexual minority, he loves to build bridges between different communities. Art especially has a heart for community and friendship in the Church.
